What's the difference between unique and legendary items?

I see that there are both unique and legendary items in Diablo 4. I don't quite get what the difference is, though. Does anyone know the difference between unique items and legendary items?

• Unique Items have an exact set of affixes while legendary items are basically a rare item with one of the many Legendary Affixes.

  One thing to note is that a character can only have a single unique item equipped. There is no limit to number of legendary items you can equip.
